JAVA ROES supports a wider range of operating systems, but requires JAVA to function. Many of our Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS 10.6 clients use this option.

To install JAVA ROES:

1. Install the latest version of Java. Mac OS X 10.7-10.9 users, and all Windows users can go to www.java.com and follow the steps to install Java. (Mac OS X 10.6 users must install Java by clicking here.)

2. Right click here and choose "Save target as..." or "Download linked file as..." In the dialog box that pops-up, please specify a location on your computer where you'd like to save the "launch.jnlp" file, such as your desktop.

3. Run the "launch" file to start the installation. Find the "launch.jnlp" file you just downloaded and double-click to start the installation through Java. If this doesn't work, right-click on "launch.jnlp" (or control-click on Mac) and choose "Open With", then select "Java Web Start" from the list. You may see occasional security pop-ups during the process; click to allow the installation to continue as our software is completely safe.

Still having trouble? Try these ideas...

For Windows Vista/XP users, you may need to temporarily disable any security software, then retry step #3. (Avast, AVG, and Kapersky may freeze the installation manager)

Delete Java completely and reinstall the latest version, then right-click on the launch file and choose to open with Java Web Start.
