Congratulations
to Michael Forsberg on the release of his book, "On
Ancient Wings: The Sandhill Cranes of North America."
Forsberg traveled 65,000 miles across four countries to document
these elegant birds. He distilled extensive research and over 1000
rolls of film into a 168-page book that offers encyclopedic knowledge
on Sandhill Cranes.
West
Coast Imaging collaborated with Forsberg to create an exhibition
featuring images from the book. The exhibition will hang at the
Great Plains Art Collection in Lincoln, Nebraska, in January
and February 2005; then the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney,
Nebraska, in March and April 2005; and in other
locations to be announced.
